With a conservative alternative in play that deals with both costs and coverage, likely voters support the repeal of Obamacare by a margin of 17 points—55 to 38 percent:

“Which comes closest to your view of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, commonly known as ‘Obamacare’?

“1. It should remain the law of the land, either in its current form or in an amended form”: 38 percent

“2. It should be repealed and replaced with a conservative alternative that aims to lower health costs and help people get insurance”: 43 percent

“3. It should be repealed but not replaced with an alternative”: 12 percent
